Benefits: The benefits of this very easy dish are the nutrients! Chia seeds are loaded with nutrients, fibers, and even antioxidants. They are low in calories, low on carbs, and high on protein. They are even known to help lose weight. That is always a plus to stay in shape. Oats are also very high in fiber and rich in antioxidants, but not only that. They are great for lowering cholesterol and improving blood sugar control because of the fibers in oats. Greek yogurt is also packed with proteins and almond milk (if used) is great for calcium and vitamins. This recipe is just all types of healthy! Sources: Gunnars, Kris. Asides from being vegan, you also get the nutrients from the yummy bananas and strawberries. Yay for potassium! Not to mention bananas are great for fiber, digestion, and are good for the heart.
